A series of Break and enters have occurred between January 20th and January 23rd in the Town of Listowel. Locations include the Listowel high School, Eastdate Public School, along with other private businesses in the area. Culprits on all occasions targeted desk top and laptop computers. On January 8th, 2012 Stratford Police were called to Northwest Secondary High School in response to windows being spray painted. At that time police observed the words “NAR” and the word “BLEED” in black paint on various locations around the school. On January 3rd, 2012 Police were called to a private residence on Road 131 in Mornington Township. At that location Police were advised of a residential break and enter. The victim in this matter advised that Stereo equipment, a television and a DeWalt drill kit were stolen. On January 20th, 2012 Police were called to St. Marys Mini Storage on James Street in St. Marys. At that time, Police were advised that a storage locker had been broken into. The complainant reported that approximately $30,000 worth of auto body industry type tools were stolen including a Husky Air Compressor, a sheet metal break and a large quantity of hand and power tools.
